A very elegant Paiwan warrior sword.

At one and the same time a weapon, an ornament, and a sign of prestige, the Paiwanese ceremonial sword, sitjeqalqala a tjakit, is carried above the left hip when wearing ceremonial clothing during rituals or ceremonial visits. The scabbard, tseqelap, and the zulung dagger are entirely decorated with traditional motifs developed by Paiwan artists.
