Description: An ancient and large warrior 'Musele' knife from the Kota people, with its blade in the shape of a bird head, presenting an opened work in its upper part in the shape of a triangle. The handle covered with a fine brass work. Very good condition.

Collected by Caporal Mazier during the 1st Mission of Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza in Congo in 1875 - 1878, then acquired by a French collector in 1943
